Our Zarnesti Paper Mill remains close to the community and strengthens its commitment to education, biodiversity, and health

• Over 500 children have already engaged in Circular Economy activities in the current school year.
• School site visits and activities will continue in April as part of the Green Week program in Brașov county.
• Support is offered to key organizations such as the Brașov County School Inspectorate and "Dr. C.T. Sparchez Hospital," among others.

Our Zărnești Paper Mill is committed to playing an active part in the development of the local community, paying close attention to local needs and priorities. We remain focused on education and biodiversity, continuing the Circular Economy Lessons held in the city’s elementary schools. Since the beginning of the current school year, over 300 pupils have benefited from this initiative, expanding their knowledge of circular economy principles, recycling, and papermaking. But much more has been achieved in the past few months.

In addition to the workshops conducted in schools, several hundred children from Brașov county visited the Paper Mill, experienced virtual tours, and learned more about how small decisions can lead to significant results in environmental protection. Similar actions will continue in April as part of the Green Week program.

Other significant initiatives receiving support from our Paper Mill include the National Olympiads hosted by the Brașov County School Inspectorate in 2024, which were attended by approximately 1,200 students and teachers from across the country. We're also involved in the modernization of the Paediatric Emergency Room at "Dr. C.T. Sparchez Hospital" and is assisting the Motokron Racing Team Association in organizing the 6th edition of the Hard Enduro Piatra Craiului competition, European Phase.

What we are doing now as a company is important, but how we shape the future matters even more.
