Solarenn – a zero plastic partnership
Solarenn is a successful agricultural cooperative based in France specialising in cherry tomatoes. Recyclability, plastic reduction and reuse have all been at the heart of the cooperative’s thinking about packaging for several years.
We have now supplied Solarenn with a range of seven different-sized punnets, all with customisable cut-out tops to increase product visibility. The punnets are all made from 100% cardboard, with zero-plastic. By supplying the cardboard tops separately we have reduced the number of pallets Solarenn needs to ship by 10-15%, reducing the number of trucks on the road. Read more about it here
