DS Smith Tecnicarton and Zumex develop innovative packaging for new line of juicers

DS Smith Tecnicarton in collaboration with the Valencian company leader in innovative solutions for fruit and vegetable juicing, ZUMEX® Group, have developed an innovative packaging for their new line of Soul Series 2 juicers. One of the most outstanding features of this development is its "WOW! effect", as it has an opening system with a high visual impact.

It is a cleanly finished two-piece solution. The lid is attached to the body by clips, which are very easy to remove by the consumer. When the consumer lifts the lid, the body unfolds to reveal the juicer.

Inside, the machine is placed on a non-cross-linked foam that immobilises it during transport and prevents it from being knocked or moved around inside the packaging.

Another feature of this solution is that it is easy to assemble. The operator can carry out this operation quickly and easily.

In order to adapt to the needs of consumers, who are increasingly demanding more sustainable solutions, this packaging is made of cardboard and is therefore 100% recyclable.
