The packaging designed and manufactured by DS Smith Tecnicarton for the transport of bulk liquids, Tecnitank®, is validated by the 3H ISTA for bulk transport, which guarantees the quality of the packaging and its safety throughout the food chain.

The ISTA 3H protocol ensures that both the product and its manufacturing process have been developed in compliance with the highest quality standards. To achieve this validation, the product has been subjected to rigorous tests and trials that determine its effectiveness for transporting and housing large loads; its resistance to strong movements or extreme conditions, as well as the fact that the packaging guarantees food safety throughout the supply chain.

The Tecnitank® is a corrugated cardboard packaging that allows the transport of up to 1,000 litres of liquids and is optimal for maritime transport thanks to the resistance of the material used.

For cargo operators, it is an easy-to-use packaging thanks to its effective unloading point which allows easy and quick emptying and, from an environmental point of view, avoids the risk of contamination, as it has an isothermal bag which does not need to be cleaned or disinfected.

Another advantage of Tecnitank® is its ability to withstand stacking at two heights during transit and up to three heights in storage with contents. It has a compression value of over 8,000 kilograms and is designed to prevent bulging.
