DS Smith Tecnicarton consolidates its leadership in industrial packaging with its presence in Metalmadrid
The company chooses the most resistant packaging for this exhibition, including the Tecniwraps range, mixed cardboard and wood packaging and fivefold laminated packaging, which offers great resistance and protection for industrial products
For the first time, DS Smith Tecnicarton will be present at the Metalmadrid fair held on 26 and 27 September at the fairgrounds in the Spanish capital. Tecnicarton will be at booth 4G19.
The aim of the company's presence at this event is to reinforce its interest in the industrial market and to show the resistance capacity of packaging made of corrugated cardboard. Thus, during the days of the fair, Tecnicarton will show packaging solutions made of five-fold laminated cardboard, wood-reinforced cardboard packaging and metal packaging, among others.
Another packaging line that will be represented in Metalmadrid will be the handling line with foam packaging for delicate metal parts, such as chromium-plated parts. To complete the product sample, Tecnicarton will also have in its stand a great variety of thermoformed trays designed to measure.
Tecniwrap:
One of Tecnicarton's star products for this fair is the Tecniwrap range, a mixed wood and cardboard packaging designed for the packaging, transport and protection of very bulky and difficult to handle products. Thanks to the versatility that Tecnicarton provides to its products, these Tecniwrap can incorporate locks, handles or internal reinforcements, depending on the product to be transported.
Among others, it has been designed for the packaging of the elements that make up the elevator cabins, as well as for street lamps, etc.
One of the advantages of this product is that it is supplied pre-assembled, and Tecnicarton can deliver it on demand, without the need for the company to have product stock, with the consequent logistical savings. Thanks to Tecnicarton's production flexibility, it can also be supplied in small quantities and is safer to use, as it is made of corrugated cardboard and is more respectful of the environment.
Customized interiors:
Tecnicarton's experience in the automotive sector has allowed it to develop a range of industrial packaging whose interior is specially designed to protect certain chrome-plated metal parts. To this end, the company has personalised packaging for each need that adapts to the dimensions of each package.
Own R+D+i:
Tecnicarton's competitive advantage is its R+D+i department with the capacity to develop the industrial packaging that each sector requires in a personalised manner. Through an Innovation department that gathers the needs of each sector, expressed or not, the company develops new packages that improve the interior protection of the pieces, favours the access to the operators and reduces logistic operations. Tecnicarton's Development Centre is located in Almussafes, Valencia, near the Ford factory, of which the company is a supplier.
