DS Smith Tecnicarton also presents its innovations with AVIA partners

DS Smith Tecnicarton was one of the 50 companies present at the first edition of the Innovation Fair organised by the Automotive Cluster of the Valencia Region -AVIA-.

To this appointment we came with a sample of packaging for the automotive sector, customized and with innovations in both the field of materials and design.

DS Smith Tecnicarton opted for multi-material packaging, such as a box with cardboard dividers and plastic pallet for crankshafts, or returnable plastic or metal packaging with flexible conditioners that were fully customised to the parts to be contained. This type of packaging makes it possible to increase the number of pieces transported, thanks to these internal arrangements, since they optimise space. In addition, all these packages allow for a stackability that increases the possibility of storage.

Junto con estos tres embalajes se mostraron también los destinados a la distribución de piezas en el interior de las plantas de producción, cuyo objetivo consiste en optimizar el tiempo de suministro en las líneas de producción y servir al mismo tiempo de almacenamiento y de transporte, como es el caso de los trenes Lean, y su reciente desarrollo el Tower Rack.

La presencia de DS Smith Tecnicarton en esta feria es la apuesta por la empresa por reconocer el valor de la innovación en la industria valenciana de automoción.
