DS Smith Tecnicarton plant in Vigo celebrates more than 2000 days without accidents at work

The DS Smith Tecnicarton plant in Vigo has managed to go from 2600 days without accidents at work to become the second plant in the group to achieve this success. In front, only the plant that the company has in Almussafes is located.

Thus, this company, which supplies industrial packaging for the main vehicle manufacturers, assures its customers of its commitment to the safety and health of its employees.

In annual terms, the Vigo plant has been accident-free for more than 7 years, and the Almussafes plant for more than 8.

This data is the result of an active policy of the company for the safety and health of employees that has been reinforced with the integration of Tecnicarton in the discipline of the multinational DS Smith. According to Pablo Escuín, responsible for this area, "Tecnicarton has always been a company that has placed great value on employee safety. And since the integration in DS Smith, investments in prevention and the personnel assigned to it have been reinforced. In addition, a great deal of effort has been put into internal training for all employees in all plants.

The commitment to prevention training materializes in small meetings that are held periodically and constantly where specific and punctual prevention issues are explained.
