Screen Printing

Screen printing is a process where an image is reproduced onto a special fine meshed screen and the open areas of the image allow the ink to transfer through and thus prints onto the material. All screen inks are now water based.

Screen printing is most effective when printing large solid areas of colour as it can deposit a larger volume of ink.

Advantages:

  • Ideal for small volume orders
  • Can be used to print on a wide range of material substrates
  • Special effects can be easily printed
  • Can print onto a variety of material thicknesses from thick to thin.

Screen printing is used widely within Point of Sale (POS), Point of Purchase (POP), Promotional and Display products
