Medium/Fluting Grades

DS Smith Paper makes around 2.3 million tonnes of corrugated case materials each year.

These papers are used to make corrugated board, which is then converted into boxes. The corrugated board consists of an outer liner paper and an inner liner paper, with fluting paper in the middle.

Every paper made by DS Smith Paper is required to perform within tight constraints, both on the corrugating machine and in the final box. Our emphasis is on producing papers that run easily and reliably on the corrugating machines and perform consistently from reel to reel. That’s why DS Smith Paper invests so heavily in the latest technologies, producing high-quality recycled paper that can substitute for expensive kraft grades without sacrificing performance.
