Challenge
Legrand's marketing and R&D teams had strong expectations in re-shaping the packaging of their premium ranges to support their sales growth in Asia. To put emphasis on Legrand's new premium identity, they were looking for a proactive consultant able to make reliable material-performance analysis and propose innovative and efficient packaging solutions. Approach
This consultancy consisted of an interactive brainstorming session and creating guidelines for design technological guidance to make Legrand's decision-making easier. Five studies were made on retail and shelf ready packaging, display, boxes and more. Innovative and specialised designs were created, mixing corrugated printed boards and plastic APET materials to package their "2.0" connected items such as a USB port, a power bar and more in premium packages and displays offering protection, high transparency and distinctive design to enhance their visibility.
