DS Smith sweeps the board at the EFIA Annual Print Awards
At the impressive Concorde Conference Centre at Manchester Airport’s Runway Visitor Park, the European Flexographic Industry Association recognised DS Smith’s Packaging Division in eight different categories, including Best in Show.
DS Smith scooped 12 awards at the EFIA Annual Print Awards including an impressive gold, bronze and highly commended in the Corrugated Post Print Coated Process category for its work with Garrett's Ingredients, Tennent’s Lager and Innis & Gunn.
To top off an amazing night, the DS Smith team in Burscough secured Bronze in the Best in Show category for its eye-catching work on Garrett’s Ingredients’ Atomic Bomb.
In total, DS Smith received three golds, four silvers, four bronzes and a highly commended, recognising teams from four different packaging sites across the UK.
The packaging strategist’s team in Livingston had a particularly successful night. It was honoured with gold in the Corrugated Post Print Uncoated Line & Screen for the Diageo Northern Ireland Guinness Extra Stout 12 X 650ml design and the Corrugated Post Print Uncoated Process for the Diageo Johnnie Walker Blue Label design, as well as five other awards across categories.
